Me on a bus in Brussels in 2023.

👋 Thanks for coming to my page. I’m Christian.

I was most recently a Design Editor for The Washington Post. I edited visuals for a variety of coverage areas — investigative, magazine, wellness and others — with a focus on digital design. I managed a group of designers and helped elevate the Post’s visual storytelling by working hand-in-hand with editors and reporters. I was formerly a Designer and an Art Director for The Washington Post Magazine.

After arriving at the Post in 2012, I worked as an Editor and a Designer across the newsroom. I started as the Designer for the Sunday Metro section before transitioning to the Sunday Business section and later the Magazine. I also did stints on A1 and other areas (and I wrote a story once). I previously worked in a variety of roles, including as the Sports Design Director, at the Sun Sentinel in Fort Lauderdale.

I was born in Hialeah, Florida, and I grew up in Miami, playing 8-bit video games and hide-and-seek with friends, and just generally enjoying the analog life. My parents emigrated from Buenos Aires in the late 1970s with my older brother in tow. In high school, I read The Miami Herald’s sports section every morning. In college, I combined my love for sports and journalism by joining the student newspaper, arguably the best decision I ever made. I live in D.C. with my wife, Claudia, and our dog, Arthur.
