Hey! Thanks for coming to my page. I’m Christian.
I was most recently a Design Editor for The Washington Post. I edited visuals for a variety of coverage areas — national, investigative, metro, health, arts, books, wellness and science — with a focus on digital design. I managed a group of designers and helped elevate the Post’s visual storytelling by working hand-in-hand with editors and reporters. I was formerly a Designer and Art Director for The Washington Post Magazine.
After arriving at the Post in 2012, I worked as an Editor and a Designer across the newsroom. I started as the Designer for the Sunday Metro section before transitioning to Art Director for the Sunday Business section and later the Magazine. I also did stints on A1 and other departments. I even wrote a story once! I previously worked in a variety of roles over 12 years at the Sun Sentinel in Fort Lauderdale.
I was born in Hialeah and grew up in Miami. My parents emigrated from Argentina in the late 1970s with my older brother in tow. After graduating from Miami Senior High School, I spent some time at Florida International University before starting my journalism career at the Sun Sentinel.
